Rescue Alert is a free, donation‑supported mobile app from Rescue Force.

Our mission: to help animal rescues, shelters, sanctuaries, and individual rescuers communicate, coordinate, and share resources — so more animals in need get help. We build and operate Rescue Alert, a free platform that connects pet owners, volunteers, and rescue organizations to report animals in need, respond to nearby rescue alerts, arrange transports and foster or shelter space, and organize rescues in real time.

It helps keep animals safe and connects people with local volunteers when an animal needs help. Anyone, anywhere can request assistance and coordinate rescue efforts in real time.

The complete story of every animal

Each profile holds photos, status, age, weight, microchip number, and personality notes, plus a unique Pet Code used for sharing and records. A chain-of-custody timeline documents every foster, transfer, adoption, and status change — so an animal's history is never lost when they change hands.

Email vet documents to petrecords@rescuealert.org with the animal's Pet Code in the subject, and AI organizes them into a structured medical history — conditions, procedures, medications, and vaccinations — topped with a plain-language summary anyone can understand.

Microchip search that respects privacy

Found a pet? Enter its microchip number and identify the animal instantly. The owner's contact details stay private — one tap notifies the owner and all of their emergency contacts by email and text that their pet has been located.

A complete session on getting animals out safely: planning before the emergency, supply and feed checklists, training animals to load, routes and navigation, driving through fire, smoke and flooding, what to do when you cannot leave, and what happens at the destination.
