Rescue Alert offers SMS messaging to support animal rescue coordination and volunteer response through the Rescue Alert platform.
How to Opt In
Users opt in to receive SMS messages by registering in the Rescue Alert mobile app, providing their phone number, and checking an explicit consent checkbox during account creation.
The consent checkbox states: “I agree to receive SMS messages from Rescue Alert related to animal rescue coordination, volunteer notifications, and account activity.”
A compliance disclosure is displayed alongside the checkbox stating: “Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for help.” Links to the Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions, and SMS Policy are provided.
