How to delete your Rescue Alert account

This page explains how a user can request deletion of a Rescue Alert account or ask for specific personal data to be deleted without deleting the account, and what information may be retained for legal, safety, or operational reasons.

Request account or data deletion

Email info@rescueforce.org from the email address associated with your Rescue Alert account.
Use the subject line Delete My Rescue Alert Account.
Include your Rescue Alert username, phone number, and any other details that help us identify the account.
If you only want specific personal data deleted, describe the data you want removed and whether you want your account to remain active.
If you no longer have access to your account email address, contact us and we will provide an alternate verification method before deletion.

Email deletion request

We process verified deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe.

What is deleted Your Rescue Alert account profile and associated personal data are deleted or anonymized as part of the deletion process, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate safety and fraud-prevention purposes.

Partial deletion requests You may request deletion of specific personal data without deleting your account. We review those requests individually and may keep limited information where required by law, safety needs, or fraud prevention.

What may be retained We may retain limited records needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce policies, prevent fraud or abuse, and preserve operational audit history related to rescue coordination.
