RESCUE FORCE SMS Messaging Program

Effective Date: February 27th, 2026

Rescue Force offers SMS messaging to support animal rescue coordination and volunteer response through the Rescue Alert platform.

How to Opt In

Users opt in to receive SMS messages by registering in the Rescue Alert mobile app, providing their phone number, and checking an explicit consent checkbox during account creation.

The consent checkbox states: “I agree to receive SMS messages from Rescue Force related to animal rescue coordination, volunteer notifications, and account activity.”

A compliance disclosure is displayed alongside the checkbox stating: “Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for help.” Links to the Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions, and SMS Policy are provided.

Types of Messages

Messages sent under this program include:

  • Phone number verification codes (one-time passcode)
  • Rescue coordination and emergency alert notifications
  • Volunteer activity alerts
  • Account-related notifications

Messages are strictly operational and informational. Rescue Force does not send promotional or marketing content via SMS.

Message frequency varies based on rescue activity and user engagement.

Fees

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier.

Opt-Out

You may opt out at any time by:

  • Replying STOP to any message
  • Toggling “SMS Messaging” off in the Rescue Alert app’s settings
